In the first five months of this year, the total transit volume of goods through Anzali and Astara ports was recorded as 771 thousand tons, 677 thousand tons and 94 thousand tons through Anzali and Astara port respectively. also compared to the same period last year, 3 and 10 percent growth in unloading and loading of goods has been recorded in Anzali and Astara ports, respectively.
The performance of Anzali Complex in the first five months of this year in export of non-oil goods amounted to 153 thousand tons with a significant growth of 91% compared to the same period last year, most of which include construction goods, chemicals, textiles and fibers that has been shipped to destinations in Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
Regarding import and unloading of non-oil goods, the reports shows 515 thousand tons, of which 363 thousand tons are related to basic commodities, 42 thousand tons are edible oils and 95 thousand tons are wood and boards. In the transit sector, a growth of 241 percent has been recorded, with the main countries of origin being Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, respectively.
